One of the founding members of Swedish psych rock outfit Adama returns with a new album—six tracks shaped by deep transformation and otherworldly experiences. The music moves between the reverent and the worldly, while the lyrics reflect life-changing moments and existential realizations.
Rooted in influences ranging from the '90s psych rock revival to Swedish indie and pop, the album maintains a simple yet expressive approach. It concludes, much like previous Adama projects, with a transcendental ambient piece performed on the esoteric Russian instrument, the Lyra-8.
The album also features contributions from I. Mellström, whose voice has appeared on multiple Adama records, E. Wendel, an underground hero from Sweden’s industrial heartland, indie veteran Olle Andersson, known for his drumming with Boris & The Jeltsins and Alarmrock, as well as krautrock specialist C. Siebert, who brings energetic drumming to the mix.
This is an album that invites the listener on a journey—intimate yet expansive, grounded yet unbound.
